The Goal of Working Out
Most people have the following goal: to look and feel healthy.
And, most people find the “healthy model” look more desirable than the “steroid monster” look.
To look and feel healthy, exhausting workouts are not necessary. Neither is lifting extremely heavy weights. These things are for the “steroid look”.
Why do people work out like bodybuilders if they don’t want to look like them?
Because many people think “no pain, no gain” is the best way to get fit.
But it’s not. “No pain, no gain” is not smart. It’s a recipe for wasted time and energy.
The goal of working out should be toning your muscles intelligently.
Not high repetitions. Not completing sets. And not lifting an object because it is heavy.
The focus of working out should be sculpting muscles into shape. Losing focus wastes much time and energy.
And it’s hard to concentrate on your muscles when you’re trying to survive a set of many repetitions. Or barely being able to lift a weight.
Torturous exercise could cause damage to joints. Even permanent damage, such as macular degeneration.(1)
Feel your muscles expanding and contracting. Focus on working your muscles. Not getting an object from point A to point B. Not working through the pain of high repetitions that get you exhausted.
High repetitions and heavy weight often make people too tired. So, they lose focus on sculpting their muscles.
Lost focus means that they’re not working toward their goal. Not wisely, that is. And their workouts become inefficient. Time is wasted.Workouts should help you use your energy wisely. To help you achieve your goal. As easily and efficiently as possible.
Remember that any form of mastery requires focus. Focus on your goal. Master your body.
Ocinator workouts feature lower amounts of repetitions than most programs. To help you focus on sculpting your muscles. To decrease your pain. And to help you get the results you want.
Working out intelligently produces better, longer-lasting, results than working out to “feel the pain.”
Ocinator’s 20-minute workout videos give you instructions that keep you focused on defining your muscles.
That way, you will stay focused on your goal. And achieve it.
You have the power to work out intelligently. To realize that “feeling the pain” is a waste of time and energy.
You have the power to change your approach to fitness. To change your life. For the better.
